How your show grows
How your show shows up.
Host-read sponsorships.
Once your show has been part of the network for six months, it becomes eligible for host-read sponsorship opportunities. Our sponsor desk handles prospecting, pitching, contracts, sponsor briefs and campaign coordination. You approve the sponsor fit and read a short, pre-approved ad script in your own voice.
Cross-promotion
Your show is promoted across the Day One Network on a campaign-by-campaign basis using a select group of shows, with a minimum of four six-week campaigns per year. Campaigns may include host reads, episode mentions, newsletter placements, social support, or “show of the week” features.
Publishing and distribution
Your finished episodes are published through our media host to podcast platforms and YouTube, with Day One Network promotion added.
Sponsor desk
After six months on the network, your show becomes eligible for sponsorship sales support. Our sponsor desk packages your show into relevant campaigns, pitches aligned sponsors, manages the deal, and coordinates approved host-read placements. Revenue is split once sponsorships are secured.

Oversubscribed
Brendan Hill · in-person founder & investor interviews
Day One took over post-production and distribution so Brendan could focus on the guests across from him. Oversubscribed appears alongside shows including First Cheque, In the Blink of AI and Pick My Brain. Vanta later sponsored the show through host-read placements.

Reviews
Real words from the people we work with.
"The Day One Team have always given me the perfect blend of support and autonomy to create exactly what I believe the ecosystem needs, while having the technical know-how and experience to educate me about the podcasting medium along the way. This has felt like a true partnership since day one, and has evolved into something really special. I wouldn't be here without Adam and the team."
"Without W2D1, I wouldn't be able to run Wild Hearts."
"DayOne stepped in and took over the entire post-production and distribution engine — so I can focus entirely on the guests across from me. If you're serious about building a show that rivals the top US podcasts, DayOne is the partner that clears the path for you to do your best work."
"I owe a lot to Adam and the team at W2D1, they have made it easy for my co-host and I to do our best work on the show and not have to worry about the production."
"Adam's insights and suggestions on podcasting best practices have made a significant difference and his extensive knowledge and experience make him the perfect partner to build a podcast with."
"W2D1 Media has been instrumental in helping us identify our strengths and articulate the purpose of our podcast."
The team
The humans behind your show.
A specialised studio based in Sydney and Melbourne. Producers, editors, a dedicated sponsor desk, and a Head of Partnerships who's spent 15 years commissioning radio — all dedicated to tech content.
Before you ask.
Still curious? Book a 30-minute call with a Day One team member. We actually reply.
What happens after the call? +
If there's a fit, we'll send a tailored proposal with scope, timeline, and pricing within a week. If it's not a fit, we'll tell you directly and — where we can — point you somewhere better. No drip sequences, no "just checking in" follow-ups you didn't ask for.
How should I prep? +
You don't need to. One sentence about what you're trying to achieve is plenty. If you have rough audience numbers, current channels, or a budget range handy, they help us give you more useful answers — but nothing is required.
Who should be on the call from my side? +
Whoever makes media decisions — founder, head of marketing, or both. We're happy with one attendee or three. If a decision-maker can't join, we'd rather reschedule than do the call twice.
Wait — is this a sales call? +
Yes, honestly. This is the first conversation when you're considering working with us. We don't do high-pressure pitches or fake-urgency closes — it's a back-and-forth to understand your situation and see if we can genuinely help. If timing or fit isn't right, we'll say so on the call.
Make better business decisions. Every day.
