📅 Let's talk
30 minutes with our founder. No deck, no pitch. We'll sketch what a show could look like for you — and you'll walk away with a plan, either way.
Who you'll meet
Adam Spencer
Managing Director & Founder
"If you are serious about building a show that rivals the quality of the top US podcasts, Day One is the partner that clears the path for you to do your best work."
You'll leave knowing exactly what a show could look like for you — format, audience and angle.
We sketch the production plan live on the call. No deck, no slideshow.
On whether a podcast is even right for you — and what it would realistically cost.
Walk away with something useful, whether or not we end up working together.
"I owe a lot to Adam and the team at W2D1, they have made it easy for my co-host and I to do our best work on the show and not have to worry about the production."
"Working with Day One gave us authentic, founder-focused brand presence in Australia and the performance reports were great too!"
"W2D1 Media has been instrumental in helping us identify our strengths and articulate the purpose of our podcast."
If there's a fit, we'll send a tailored proposal with scope, timeline, and pricing within a week. If it's not a fit, we'll tell you directly and — where we can — point you somewhere better. No drip sequences, no "just checking in" follow-ups you didn't ask for.
You don't need to. One sentence about what you're trying to achieve is plenty. If you have rough audience numbers, current channels, or a budget range handy, they help us give you more useful answers — but nothing is required.
Whoever makes media decisions — founder, head of marketing, or both. We're happy with one attendee or three. If a decision-maker can't join, we'd rather reschedule than do the call twice.
Nope. About half the people we meet with are still working out whether a show even makes sense for them. We'll give you a straight read either way — including when the answer is "not yet" or "this isn't the right channel for you."
Yes, honestly. This is the first conversation when you're considering working with us. We don't do high-pressure pitches or fake-urgency closes — it's a back-and-forth to understand your situation and see if we can genuinely help. If timing or fit isn't right, we'll say so on the call.
