Editorial programmes · For funds, ecosystem teams and B2B brands

Earn the trust of the founders and investors you need to reach.

An editorial programme gives your organisation a regular, credible way to show up for the people who matter to it. We design the programme with you, run the production inside it and agree in writing what success looks like before work starts.

Who it's for

Organisations that need trusted access to Australia's innovation economy.

Venture funds and investor platforms

Explain how you invest before founders raise. Give your portfolio a platform, and keep your firm in the conversations where deals start.

Universities, accelerators and ecosystem programmes

Tell the stories of the founders, researchers and operators you back, in a format your community makes time for.

B2B brands selling to founders and investors

Build familiarity with founders, operators and investors through a programme they choose to follow, rather than another ad they scroll past.

How a programme runs

Start with a sprint. Commit to more once you've seen the work.

Each stage is priced from its agreed scope. We talk through ranges on the first call, and put the scope and price in writing before you commit.

  1. Start here

    Editorial strategy sprint

A short, paid piece of strategy work. It ends in a programme brief you can act on: audience, positioning, format, host, guest plan, distribution, approvals and what a season would take.

  2. Then

    A first season

A bounded run of episodes with clear outputs, production standards, rights and review limits. You see the work before you commit to more.

  3. Ongoing

    A programme

Ongoing strategy, production and selected distribution, reviewed against the outcome you agreed at the start.

Where production fits

Production sits inside the programme.

The team that produces the shows on the Day One Network records, edits and packages every episode. If you already run a show and only need production, it's available on its own as a production tier.

  • Riverside remote video recording support
  • Audio and video editing
  • Short-form clips drawn from each episode
  • Show notes, metadata and publishing-ready assets
The Day One Network

Proof and distribution, when it fits the scope.

Day One is W2D1's network of business podcasts for Australia's founders, investors and operators. In a programme it can add cross-promotion, newsletter features and introductions where they help.

Network distribution is part of a programme only when it's in the agreed scope. We set targets with you in writing. We don't guarantee audience numbers or leads.

Is it a fit?

A programme works when these are in place.

We're not the right partner if you need the cheapest editing, unlimited revisions or a promise that something will go viral.

  • An audience you can name: the founders, investors or operators you need to reach.
  • An executive sponsor who can make decisions and protect the programme's time.
  • A commercial purpose you can measure, such as deal flow, partnerships or pipeline.
  • Reliable access to good guests, through your network, portfolio or customers.
  • Budget for ongoing delivery, not only a launch.
Working together

What happens after you get in touch.

  1. A 25-minute call with Adam about your audience, purpose and timing.
  2. A written scope and price for the sprint.
  3. The sprint, and a programme brief your team can act on.
  4. Your decision on a season, with scope, price and rights in writing.

Questions buyers ask first.

Is an editorial programme the same as a branded podcast?

The podcast is usually the centre of it. A programme also covers the strategy, guest plan, distribution and review rhythm around the show, so it keeps doing its job after launch.

We've been calling this a thought leadership programme. Is it the same thing?

Often, yes. We build it around a show your audience chooses to follow, produced by the team behind the shows on the Day One Network.

Can we start with production only?

Yes. If you already have a show and only need production, choose Production only or Production + Day One. Strategy can be added later.

Do you guarantee audience, leads or deals?

No. We agree targets with you in writing and review the programme against them. We don't promise numbers we can't control.

Who owns the show?

Ownership and rights are set out in the agreement before work starts.
