Adam Spencer
Managing Director & Founder
Adam Spencer is a podcast producer and the founder and host of the show, Welcome to Day One, the podcast for regional startups & the organisations that support them. Adam covers the stories from the Hunter-Central Coast region and is also the founder of W2D1 Media.
Adam has been producing podcasts and telling stories since 2012 when he first discovered podcasting. He has produced podcasts for the University of Newcastle as well as many other organisations.
He has also produced a number of independent podcasts including a series called the Morning ROAR. It was published back in 2015 and received over 30,000 downloads in the first 3 months.

Who Are We?
We are W2D1 and we believe in the absolute power of storytelling to educate, entertain and influence people’s behaviour.
But more so, we believe that humans connecting on a deeper level with other humans is just good for the planet and everybody on it. We tell our stories with one secret ingredient that isn’t really a secret, we let our unquenchable, unbridled curiosity guide our storytelling or we find the people who are insanely curious about the stories we want to tell.

Will is an experienced producer, producing the podcast series ‘The Genesis of Startups’ at the University of Sydney.
Will is an assistant producer at W2D1 Media and is currently working on a production about the history of the Australian startup ecosystem.
